Videos

For more videos, don't forget to check out the PARKING selections!

Walt Disney World - the Longform Video

The sucky thing about annual passes is that they're only good for a year.  Our passes have
expired now, so we decided to comb through our footage and put something nice together.

Six Flags Glow in the Park Parade (St. Louis)

  Seriously?  This is Six Flags?

It's not Disney, but it's a damn fine parade.

  Manta and Sea World Orlando

We got an invite to come hang out at Sea World for the Media Day of Manta, the park's brand new
B&M flying coaster.  Since you weren't there, here's a little overview of what you missed.

  Awesome coaster, by the way.

  Pirates of the Caribbean ride-through

Probably one of the most difficult rides to get a good (non-night vision) video of, Pirates of the
Caribbean is one of the finest dark rides in existence.

And our Sony VX-2100s had no problems at all capturing the action.

Osborne Family Lights at Disney Hollywood Studios

We've got three videos showcasing the lights presented at Christmas.

  A Mad Russian's Christmas

  Jingle Bells

  Parade of the Wooden Soldiers

  Wishes

Since Wishes runs a bit over ten minutes, we had to break it down into two parts.  I'm really hot and cold
when it comes to this show.  I like parts of it, but there's some elements (singing children) that rub me
the wrong way.  Nevertheless, it's a good show.

  Part One

  Part Two

  Spectromagic

Spectromagic is a great show at the Magic Kingdom.  Again, we've had to break this into two parts
  because of Youtube time contstraints.

  Part one

  Part two

Illuminations : Reflections of Earth (plus Holiday tag)

Illuminations is the best damn nighttime show there is.  Take the best damn nighttime show there is, and
throw on another few minutes and you've got yourself a superwinner.

  Part One

  Part Two

Long Weekend in October (Epcot Food and Wine Festival)

If you ever get a chance to hit Disney in October, you ab-so-lutley have to make sure you spend a day at
Epcot for the International Food and Wine Festival.  We also spent a bit of time over at Mickey's Not So
Scary Halloween Party (which, when compared to the Pirates and Princess Party, was distinctly "meh.")

Mickey's Boo to You Halloween Parade

Since I did just mention Mickey's Not so Scary Halloween Party, here's the parade from that special
  hard ticket event.

Hard Rock Park - Bohemian Rhapsody

Rest in Peace, Hard Rock Park.  Here's the now-gone nighttime firework and laser spectacular.  It's not
on a par with Disney, but it's hard to be too critical of a show that uses Queen, right?

Magic, Music and Mayhem Fireworks (Pirates and Princess Party)

This might be my favorite fireworks show at the Magic Kingdom.  Dude, it looks like they blew the
  freaking castle up!

  Part One

  Part Two

  Cedar Point

Coasters, flat rides, and the harmonic stylings of Butch Walker.  Everything a decent video needs.

Midnight Rider / Eagles: Life in the Fast Lane / Iron Horse testing

How the hell can one coaster have been through three names in two years?

  Busch Gardens Williamsburg

We headed up to Virginia the year Griffon opened.  We had no intention of shooting the park using a
Sony VX camera, but our handheld Panasonic camera chose to eat itself.  Oh well.  I think we
squeaked a pretty decent little video out of it.

Myrtle Beach Pavilion - Last Ride

On September 24th, 2006, the Myrtle Beach Pavilion closed its gates to the general public.  A ticketed
event, the Last Ride, was held on September 30th, 2006 for 3,000 ticket holders.  TPS was there, and
this is our memorial video to a park that entertained generations of beachgoers.
