No amusement park is complete without an Enterprise attraction, and Six Flags Over Georgia brings us a Schwarkopf Enterprise III model (as far as I can tell, it's considered a III model because it has 21 gondolas. Previous Schwarkfopf Enterprise models had only 16 gondolas. So if that's ever a Final Jeopardy question, you're welcome).
An enterprise is a great attraction with a very basic concept. Each gondola holds up to two people (unless they're annoying skinny teenage girls. They always seem to think a gondola is a clown car). The ride spins in a counterclockwise direction until it reaches its maximum speed. At that point, the entire circular frame is lifted from a horizonal position to a vertical one and riders are held in place by centrifugal force.
After a while, the ride is lowered back down, comes to a stop, and you stagger to the exit (okay, I stagger. I'm not a big spinner guy, though enterprises don't affect me too badly)
