Thunder River
Thunder River is the park's resident whitewater raft ride. Passengers are loaded into circular rafts and embark on a brief journey through manmade rapids, passing alongside (and into) waterfalls and other wet obstacles. As if that wasn't enough, bystanders can shoot water cannons at the rafts as they pass by. Like many raft rides, how wet you get depends on where your karma meter is. There is no method or reason here. You'll end up somewhere between "spritzed" and "drowned." But, as always, let me remind you that there's no excuse for a poncho on a water ride. You made the bed, McFly. Lie down and take it. This ride can get insanely long lines, not surprisingly especially when it's hot. This is on the Flash Pass system, so if you rented a Flash Pass it's certainly worth a ride as long as you're cool with spending the rest of the day with wet underwear trying valiantly to crawl up your bum.
