SeaWorld - Manta Media Day

We decided to go exploring in the queue (or, as
Jarsh called it, the queue line).

PTR = serious business
(not pictured: Brandi taking a picture of Karen taking a picture
of me and Jarsh taking pictures)

No, it isn't raining.  This picture was shot through
the waterfall that is outside the first section of the queue.

Speaking of the queue, the GP is lining up.  Don't believe that sign
that says zero minutes.  It quickly jumped up to 90 minutes.

We wandered backstage for a bit (our exclusive t-shirt was
our passport) to hit up the hospitality tent.

Our new pal Chip shows off the official Sea World Theming golf cart.

Definition of class:  showing up at a media event wearing a t-shirt
for a different chain's park event.  Stay classy, TPR!

We had a hold up while some hoses were set up around
this drain.  No clue what the problem with that was.  It'd
be supercool if that area was filled with water.

Chris throws the dubs.

Jarsh looks larst.

Karen practices her Facebook camera techniques.

Okay, the coaster is great, but we really need to talk
some about the queue area.  Unfortunately, our camera
wasn't crafty enough to get decent wider shots.  You
really need to see the full room to get a better grasp of
just how big some of this stuff is.

(luckily, we brought our video A-camera, so you'll see it in the video)

See, that's the best still we got of the underwater viewing area,
and it ain't that good in the first place.  We're in the market for
a new still camera that has a little more latitude...

Tons of rays in the queue aquariums (no manta rays,
of course, 'cause those things are huuuuuge).

No clue who this guy is, but he seems to play well with others.

God, I hope she didn't just fart.

Here's a shot of an octopus.  Yep.

Here's an extreme close up of the business end of a starfish.

This is a sea anemone.  They roll up like this after they eat.
