Epcot

Memorial Day Weekend 2008

Since it's such a "Karen" ride, it's only appropriate I take over from here. I don't remember what they were growing in this picture, I just like the lines and contrast of colors.

You know those black bits in bananas? They're tarantula eggs.

Do you see Mickey?

I think it's really neat that they grow the melons like this.

Another pretty color and texture contrast picture.

Peppers!

Don't these pineapple plants look like they're from another planet . . .or rather plant-net?

(Hey everyone.  Steve here.  I'm really sorry about that.  Girl likes her puns...)

Mickey head pumpkin in the making.

These plants are part of an experiment involving moving water, your face, and plant growth.

This is a cherry tomato "tree." These plants don't normally grow in tree form, so it's kind of special.

Here are some creeping looking fish in their fish vat farm thingy.  They think they're going
to wind up in the Living Seas with Nemo.

Nope.  They're totally gonna wind up in the Coral Reef Restaurant...

After the boat ride, it was time to do Soarin'. It was our first time on it.

Speaking for myself, it was a lot of fun. California is really pretty and I hope if/when they update it with Florida scenery, they do as good a job with selecting scenes.

Honestly though, I don't get why the lines are so long. I think I was expecting my socks to get knocked off when all it did was untie my shoe laces. Sure it's different from anything else they have at the moment, but is that it? Of course, I don't understand the lines for Test Track, either. Either I had too high expectations from all the hype or I'm missing something.
