Based on an episode of the popular Rugrats cartoon,
Runaway Reptar is an off the
shelf Vekoma Suspended Family Coaster (yes, I know it's an inverted coaster, not
a suspended coaster. I didn't name the stupid thing).
Basically, RRR is a good middle step coaster for kids.
It's a step up from the other two coasters in the Nick Central area, and it just
seems like a bigger ride than it actually is.
I don't think the tykes will be asking to go to Top Gun as soon as they get off,
but it's a baby steps kinda thing.
I wouldn't be honest, however, if I didn't mention the fact that this coaster (as well as the many other Vekoma SFCs out there), despite the whole "family" thing, are not well suited for taller individuals. Vekomas have a reputation as being "headbangers," and this type of coaster lives up to that reputation, especially if you're over, say, 6 feet.
