Rocket Power Air Time
This is a Chance Falling Star attraction that's been in the park since 1990. Originally called The Gauntlet, this ride was rethemed as the Nickelodeon characters invaded the park in 2003.
Essentially what we've got here is what's commonly found in fairs and carnivals as The Rainbow or 1001 Nights. The ride platform starts off rotating to the right, then it swings back around to the left gaining momentum.
Once the ride is fully in motion, the platform lingers at the ride's highpoint (as pictured), then swings all the way back around. This creates a fair amount of airtime, although Rocket Power is a slower version so it's safe for the kiddies.
At its maximum height, Rocket Power is 70 feet tall. Your kids will feel like they just conquered the moon when they get off it.
