Carowinds

Shops

For the most part, the shops in Carowinds offer branded material ranging from t-shirts to plush to mugs.  Many items may be found in multiple locations, but I've always been of the belief that you should get it when you see it.  At the end of the day, you may not have the time (or the attention span) to hike back to the other side of the park in search of that perfect pair of shorts with "Carowinds" plastered across the butt.

I don't actually own a pair of those, by the way.  That was totally just an example.  Now you're all stuck with that mental image.

Carolina Cove (located in the Carolina Boardwalk area) is actually a case where there's predominantly unbranded material.  As the store is located in the Carolina Boardwalk area, they carry a variety of beach and motorcycle items.

Flight Gear Souvenirs (located in County Fair, near Top Gun) carries Top Gun related items as well as some plush, keychains, etc.  Nothing in the store is more than $10.

Girl Space (located in Carowinds Plaza, across from the Chick-fil-a) is like a Claires gone wild.  Clothing, dolls, some plush, and (hooray) Sanrio products (Chococat represent!)

Nickelodeon Store (located shockingly in Nick Central) carries a pretty wide variety of items branded with the Nickelodeon characters.  Clothing, plush items, toys, etc.

Old Time Photo (located in Carolina R.F.D., near the Country Kitchen) is just one of those things I don't get.  While I completely understand the appeal of the vintage photo thing, I don't see the logic in spending a lot of time in a park doing it.  I guess I'm more conservative with my time.

Plaza Gifts (located in Carowinds Plaza) is a smaller shop with branded merchandise.

Premieres (located in Carowinds Plaza) is a large shop that carries pretty much everything.  Apparel, plush items, mugs, shot glasses, picture frames, stupid hats - it's all there.

Rock Shop (located in the Action Zone) is a throwback to when that area of the park was primarily themed to Wayne's World.  Back then the place was full of rock shirts and posters.  In recent years, it's become more like a Hot Topic wannabe.

Scooby Doo Barn (located in Carolina R.F.D., near Top Gun) carries Scooby Doo and some other Hanna Barbara related items.  Mostly geared towards the shorties.

Thrills (located in Carowinds Plaza) mostly has roller coaster related clothing as well as some plush and mugs.

Wacky World of Kids (located in Carolina R.F.D., near Scooby Doo) carries youth clothing and plush items.
