Camden Park
Camden Park originally opened as a family picnic area along the city's old streetcar line. The streetcar system died, but the park stayed open by offering special attractions. . . .like rides.
The Big Dipper is the star coaster of the park. It's a great old woodie that opened in 1958.
Here's a shot of the coaster's long tunnel.
No tunnel or steep drops; the Little Dipper is manageable for the "acoaster" types and a perfect trainer coaster for beginners. Camden Park is a pay-one-price park. Here's a selection of rides your one-price will get you:
