TPS Report

Cedar Point
(page 4)

After lunch, we took a quick stroll through Kiddie Kingdom.
Most of the attractions here are the boring kiddie-go-round-in-circles crap.

But then we saw this.  Damn kiddies and the kiddie-whips.
I can't believe there wasn't an adult version.

Okay, back on the Midway now, and lookie what's up there.

Power Tower isn't going to win any awards, but it's a nice,
straightforward Space Shot/Turbo Drop combination ride.

Oh yeah. This thing is over there too.

You know the stats.  No point in going into it here.
I think it's crazy fun, but honestly I'm still not even sure what
the hell happens on this ride.  It's so freaking fast.

I asked Karen if I could ride it again so I could better comprehend
what the hell the ride was about.  She looked at the 120 minute
queue sign and recommended I not go that route.

(okay, that isn't true.  I wouldn't make her wait again, especially for a 17
second ride.  That's why she hasn't killed me in my sleep yet.  Well, that
and the fact that there's nothing in her name yet)

I honestly couldn't believe the number of traveling-carnival
style rides I saw at Cedar Point.  I totally understand it, but
that doesn't mean I really respect it.

Since I wasn't able to get a second Dragster credit, I took a lap or
two on Magnum XL-200.

This thing is a brutal beast, but it's still remarkably fun.
What you can't see in this photo are the tunnels that litter the course.
The tunnels, combined with the heavy shakes, make this ride.

I conquered the Magnum.  Now Karen captures the moment.
(next time, sweetie, would you warn me when I look like that?)

Obligatory Enterprise shot.  Hey, JeffreyJ!

Now for my favorite ride in the park.

FUN!

I can't even try to explain why I loved Gemini so much.  Maybe
the other riders and their attitudes rubbed off on me, but I
was way into this thing.  Just loved it.
