TPS Report

Christmas in Epcot
Orlando, FL
December 2008

Of course the highest number of Christmas related stuff was in The American Adventure.

They went subtle with the decorations at the Liberty Theatre...

...but then again they've got this big ole Christmas tree in front of it.

Can you find the hidden Mickey?

There was a series of intricate train tracks set up beneath the tree.
I think there were at least three different tracks set up, with multiple trains.

Here's Mwalimu, giving a lesson of the seven principles of Kwanzaa.  Of course,
everyone knows the seven principles of Kwanzaa (Umoja, Kujichagulia, Ujima, Nia,
Ujamaa, Kuumba, and Imani), so there's no point in dragging this bit on.

Inside the restaurant at American Adventure they had a big gingerbread house.

Okay, it's not as impressive as the one at the Grand Floridian, but it's
still nicely done.

Can you spot the Hidden Mickeys in this picture?

More detail.

Wait a minute.  What the hell kind of gingerbread house hasn't got ginger in it?
I'm calling shenanigans!  Go get your broom!

Moving into Italy, the decorations continue.

Somewhere in Italy was the good Christmas witch La Befana.  We didn't
hang around to find her.  Sorry.
