Christmas in the Disney Resorts

We love any excuse to ride a monorail.
We decided to check out the Contemporary's holiday display.
Here's their ingredient list.
It's amazing how they got Gepetto, as big as he is, to stand on one leg.
The detail is stunning!
Next up, the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa!
The tree here has Victorian inspired decorations.
To add to the ambiance, they have a piano player in the lobby.
AND a giant gingerbread cookie house.
Again, they didn't skimp on the details! (Grr, yellow lighting.)
The poinsettias are made of sugar.
Each window has a unique scene painted on it.
It doubles as a shop. You can buy gingerbread in the gingerbread house. (I didn't notice how HUGE this lady's hair was until we started looking at the picture. Here in the south they say "The bigger the hair, the closer to God.")
