TPS Report

King's Island
(2006/2007)

The World's First giant Huss Frisbee, Delirium doesn't get nearly the attention
it deserves.  Why is that?  Because Cedar Point got jealous and opened the
larger Maxair two years later (and by larger, we're talking about a few feet.
Just enough to play the "biggest" card. This is why Ohio can't have nice things).

Here we see Delirium in 2006, with an ad for another great Paramount movie in the foreground.

Here we are in 2007.  Of course, we can't advertise those pesky Paramount films anymore,
can we?  So what do they put up instead?

It's an ad for a ride in the park you're already in.

I don't want to get off on a tangent here, but is it really an ad when it's for an attraction
in the park you're at?  Much as I hate to say this, wouldn't it be a wiser play to maybe
advertise something at a different Cedar Fair park?

Oh, an ad for the 3-Point Challenge.  Yeah, that's WAY better.

Also in the Action Zone area is the troubled Son of Beast coaster.

Of course, there's a little something missing in 2007 that was there in 2006...

You can easily see where the new wood has been added.

The trains have also been changed.  These were brought in from
the defunct Hurricane coaster at the Myrtle Beach Pavilion.

At this point in the ride, it's remarkably smooth.

As you slowly turn around on the massive structure, it's still pretty smooth.

And at this point, smoothness has wandered far, far away.

Ironically, people who rode SOB with the loop maintain that the loop was actually the smoothest
part of the entire ride.  I missed my opportunity by a mere two weeks.  Oh well.
