TPS Report
ACE Coaster Con XXXII

Add-on Event - Daredevil Daze at Six Flags St. Louis

We were up bright and early to make the two hour drive from Columbia to Eureka.

Seven in the morning and it's already slap-a-bitch hot.

Check it out.  They have six flags.  Like the name.

Don't let the picture fool you.  There's plenty of folks here.

I'm trying to decide if we should be with the ACE peeps or if
we should try to get in with the St. Louis Information Service Center crew.

Weather Forecast - 30 percent chance of rain.
We'll get back to that later...

We went ahead and hooked up with the ACE peeps.
We did pay the ten bucks in advance, after all.

Aw, hell.  We shoulda held out for the Harrah's folks.
Anyways, we entered the park through the side entrance,
passed the picnic pavilions and came out...

...right by Evel Knievel and its delightful ERT.

Evel Knievel is a great coaster, but the wood of the trip
was pretty much Prowler over at Worlds of Fun.

But they're both really, really fun coasters.
Evel Knievel has a really great last section, with bunches of bumps.

So you're looking at this picture, trying to figure out how it fits in.
What you're looking at here, folks, is a classic example of a cutaway
shot.  We're using it to break up two shots that are way too similar.

See, you're not going to bother scrolling up and seeing the shot
before the cutaway, are you?

Josh likes him some Evel Knievel action.

We lost Brandi for this section of the trip, but we did gain Tommy and Robert.

I count three Prowler shirts on the train.  They just gave them
to us yesterday.  Come on, people.

Evel Knievel once beat a dude with a baseball bat, despite the
fact that both of his arms were in casts.  Oswald was a fag.

So we've only ridden one ride.  Why the hell are
we just standing around?
