Days One and Two: Branson & Con Registration
Still on the way to Branson...
New at Waffle House: WAFFLE HOUSE!!
Arkansas was full of these scenic rolling farm lands.
The farther north you go in Arkansas, things get a little more
steep as you enter the Ozark
mountains. The Ozarks are the remnants of an ancient mountain range. The roads
start to get twisty.
Just pretend there's a "Welcome to Missouri" sign here, okay?
We made it!
On the way to the hotel, we passed Celebration City. Steve salivated over Wildcat.
S: No kidding. Someone needs to get this damn thing open!
So this is where that guy ended up!
And here's where we ended up. We stayed at the "official" hotel for the Branson leg of the Con.
After a leisurely Sunday morning, we headed down to Registration.
We got our first glimpse of the fellow conventioneers.
The walls of the hotel were made out of sandpaper. I used them to exfoliate one night. It was great!
Jarsh walked us through the registration process. It's much more than just
getting your
envelope and putting on your name tag. There's a check list involved and
ribbons.
