TPS Report
ACE Coaster Con XXXII

Day Six: Worlds of Fun

I like it when parks have uniforms other than polo-shirts with a logo and khaki pants.

3 ride action shot!

I LOVED Spinning Dragons! I just rode it at the wrong time . . .  more on that later.

And now for your enjoyment, a selection of Patriot shots.

Hey now, Steve's back. Patriot was a surprisingly
solid ride.  It doesn't look like much, but it's good stuff.

Dustijn recommended the back row right seat, and I
gotta say he was absolutely right.

It's not as intense as Montu or Afterburn, but it's still
heads and shoulders above Raptor.

Patriot through the trees!

That'd be a nod to our friend Julie who started the coaster "through
the trees" phenomenon. And now you know the rest of the story.

Karen: Does this count as an inversion? It goes mostly upside down, but not totally.
Maybe we can it a most-version?

Steve: I love her anyway, even if comments like that
will probably get us kicked out of ACE.

Brandi and Josh coordinate well with the patriotic colors in this area.

Steve? Not so much.

Steve Rule #12: Steve does not wear park shirts to parks, unless it's a Disney park shirt or a Disney park.
Disney park shirts can be worn anywhere, even in a Disney park.

Hello, again!

Here's an obligatory Karen reflective shot.

Time for lunch! ACE Con attendees got a 50% discount on food at the Sports Grill.
SCORE!!!1!! Jeff got a Chicken-Flesh Parm sandwich, which looked delish.

Funny thing about the nachos at the Sports Gril: Despite it not being on the list of
ingredients on the menu,  the nachos come with beef. Surprise!

They were cool about it though and replaced the fleshy nachos with non-fleshy nachos.

The park had an amazing history display set up.

They had all kinds of neat stuff here!

They had several photo albums that featured pictures of the park through the years. They also
had old park maps, ride blueprints and concept art on display. It was great!

If we ever win the lottery, we're gonna front the money to get an amusement park/ride museum opened.
And open a monkey sanctuary. Maybe we'll even combine the two!
